Uniqlo in La Defense - 优衣库进军法国

We’d been waiting for the opening of Uniqlo’s flagship store in France since we heard the news. The Japanese retailer of casual wear chose the shopping centre “Les Quatre Temps“(Four Seasons) in La Defense to set their first point of influence in Paris. Why in the suburb ? La Defense is certainly the biggest business centre in Paris, where a large number of foreign work force spend most of their day time in the area, these people probably know Uniqlo better than other Parisians.

自从听到优衣库即将在法国开设它的旗舰店的消息，我们一直翘首以盼。这家日本的服装零售商选择在La Defense的四季商场开设它的第一个运营点。为什么开在郊区呢？ LaDefense无疑是巴黎最大的商业中心，有一大批外籍人员在这里工作和生活，这些人可能比正宗的巴黎人更了解优衣库。

La Defense is one of my favorite places in greater Paris, those towers reminds me of my hometown, and also, girls like malls (and the one in La Defense is still expanding…yay ^^) We went there this afternoon and were a little disappointed. The size of Uniqlo store in La Defense is only one-third of the one on Huaihai Rd (淮海路). The clothes are really expensive for their design and quality. 20€ for a plain manga T-shirt ! In China, Uniqlo is called the Fashion Hypermarket, not only because you shop with a basket, but also of the low price.

La Defense是我巴黎大区里最喜欢的地方之一，这里的高楼大厦总让我想起上海，再说嘛，哪个女孩子不喜欢商场呢:P 今天下午我们去那里逛了一圈，却失望而归。整个优衣库只有上海淮海店的三分之一大。衣服相对它们款式和质量来说算是贵的。一件印有漫画的T-shirt要20欧！中国的优衣库被称作是时尚大卖场，你不单单可以像在超市买东西一样购衣物，价钱也相对便宜。

It was the first time I saw Uniqlo’s Japanese logo though, we thought it was the wrong place at first. After a tour in the store, nothing really caught our eyes. As one of the growing competitor of Gap, Zara, H&M, is Uniqlo ready to battle in France ?

不过我倒是第一次看见优衣库的日文Logo，一开始还以为走错地方了呢。在店里逛了一圈之后，没有发现任何吸引我们的东东。优衣库作为Gap, Zara, H&M的潜力竞争对手，看来法国的这第一仗有点悬。
