Je recherche (我寻觅), 最近电台里放的比较多的一首法语对唱歌曲，由两位名不见经传的歌手Mauss和Charlie共同演绎. Mauss其实是一个摇滚乐队, 名字来自于主唱Fabrice Mauss. 女歌手Charlie的声音乍一听有点像Olivia Ruiz. Je recherche 被收录在Mauss07年11月份的新专辑Aux Dernières Nouvelles里.

Congrats to French actress Marion Cotillard, who won the best actress in a comedy/musical Golden Globe for her performance in the movie La Vie En Rose (La Môme) reflecting the life of Edith Piaf, one of the greatest French singers.
《巴黎感觉》这个节目做的不错的，对于没机会出国的国人是个很好的了解巴黎和整个法国的机会。当初电视上放《巴黎感觉》的时候没看过几集，现在对于内容已经没啥印象了。能想得起来的只有两首主题曲了。节目组挑了首音乐很有法国味道的歌：Francis Cabrel的Octobre(十月)， 选自情歌王子Cabrel94年的专辑Samedi Soir Sur La Terre(地球上的星期六)。
《巴黎感觉》的片尾曲，不知道为什么编剧选了这首歌，虽然歌在法国是妇孺皆知的，但Porque te vas是西班牙语歌嘛。只能说是欧洲感觉了。

Everyone who has lived in France knows the administration here is a nightmare. And the French only complain about it instead of improving it. Now the new President Sarkozy has the will to take some actions, all the foreign students are concerned if they want to work legally in France.
The temporary authorization of work has been canceled since July 1st 2007, anyone who has the titre de séjour (one-year residence permit generally speaking) or the récépissé (temporary residence permit of 3 months) can work legally when the below conditions are satisfied :
1. The employer should make a declaration of employment 2 days before the date of recruitment, by attaching a copy of titre de séjour (student card or récépissé de demande de titre) to the mail including both the employer and the student’s information (Download an example)
2. Work no more than 964hr per year (=60% of full time), if the student works more than 964hrs, the prefecture will withdraw the temporary titre de séjour.

Not being a fan of French Idol “Nouvelle Star“, We got up at 7:30 on a Saturday morning, waited in the cold wind in front of the Trianon Theatre in the 18ème arrondissement (18th district, there’re 20 in all in Paris), near Sacré Coeur, for an hour, just for the Idols selection recording of the new season. Plus one hour’s waiting on the stairs inside, and another one hour in the auditorium waiting for the casting to show up, I couldn’t help but wonder, how badly do we want to be seen on M6 clapping hands with a silly smile among a bunch of strangers who act exactly like us ? We don’t even watch TV ! Steph probably won’t ask himself this question coz I dragged him there, poor thing…
