We’d been waiting for the opening of Uniqlo’s flagship store in France since we heard the news. The Japanese retailer of casual wear chose the shopping centre “Les Quatre Temps“(Four Seasons) in La Defense to set their first point of influence in Paris. Why in the suburb ? La Defense is certainly the biggest business centre in Paris, where a large number of foreign work force spend most of their day time in the area, these people probably know Uniqlo better than other Parisians.

自从听到优衣库即将在法国开设它的旗舰店的消息，我们一直翘首以盼。这家日本的服装零售商选择在La Defense的四季商场开设它的第一个运营点。为什么开在郊区呢？ LaDefense无疑是巴黎最大的商业中心，有一大批外籍人员在这里工作和生活，这些人可能比正宗的巴黎人更了解优衣库。

Miss Cindy, my new Shanghainese friend in London, taught me this easy but DELICIOUS recipe : Ginger Milk Custard.

我在伦敦的朋友Cindy教了我一道既简单又美味的菜谱：姜汁撞奶。

Looks yummy huh ? Born and raised in Shanghai, I had never seen and heard of this Chinese dessert. It’s actually famous in the south of China, esp in Guangdong and Hongkong (cantonese : keong chap chong lai). The person who first made Ginger milk custard was either a chemist or a curious cook who thought “if we drink both ginger tea and hot milk, why don’t we put them together and save ourselves some time ?”

看上去是不是很Q ?  我生在长在上海，倒是没有听说过这道中国甜点。姜汁撞奶在中国南部，两广和香港那里比较有名。第一个做出姜汁撞奶的人不是一个化学家就是个别出新裁的厨师，他肯定是想：既然我们喝姜茶和热牛奶，为什么不把两样东西煮在一起节省点时间呢？

很早就想写八卦了，今天终于等到了让我动笔的题材。

法国总统萨科齐(Nicolas Sarkozy)和不羁老婆塞西里亚(Cécilia Sarkozy)离婚两个月了，这期间法国的大小媒体纷纷不停的猜测和预计爱丽舍宫的新女主人。萨科齐到底是萨科齐，做什么都不想让法国大众失望。在圣诞来临之前，总统的新女友浮出水面，还不是别人，卡尔拉·布鲁妮(Carla Bruni)是也。本月15号的这个周末，Carla Bruni带着老妈和儿子，与萨科齐在巴黎的迪斯尼玩了两天，于是2007年末的法国媒体炸开了锅。

对于不熟知Carla Bruni的中国朋友，这张清秀的脸蛋到底是谁呢？

沉寂了一段时间, 用美味帖重新开张!

不发声音一方面因为琐事比较多, 忙完之后就比较懒, 连做饭都提不起劲来, 给Sushi Paradis赚了不少小钱. 天天烧饭最近变成了一件令人头疼的事情. 坚持不买速冻快餐食品, 但也会碰到黔驴技穷的时候. Pizza做过好几回了, 意大利肉酱面也老调了, 我在网上一页页得翻找”新”懒人菜谱, 突然就这么想到了蛋挞(Tarte/Tart). 大的像Pizza一样的咸蛋挞一直让我觉得是上不了台面的点心小食, 而且属于高热量高胆固醇类, 多食不宜. 不过呢偶尔懒惰一下是允许的, 怎么也算是小美味啦, 还有一定的小架势小class.
